Vertexneo Holdings ("we", "our", or "us") operates the VNH Tour Guide application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Location Data: With your permission, the Service accesses your device's GPS location to find nearby tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes, and accommodations, and to generate personalized travel itineraries.
Language Preference: Your selected app language is stored locally on your device to personalize your experience. This information is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not require account registration, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information to use the core features of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display nearby points of interest based on your current location
To generate day-by-day travel itineraries tailored to your selected dates and location
To provide directions by linking to third-party map applications (Google Maps, Naver Map)

Location data is processed in real time to fulfill your request and is not permanently stored on our servers.

3. Sharing of Information with Third Parties

To provide location-based search results, your location coordinates are sent to the following third-party service providers strictly for the purpose of delivering search results back to the app:

Kakao Corp. (Kakao Local API) - for nearby place and category search
Korea Tourism Organization / Korea Public Data Portal (TourAPI) - for tourist attraction and travel information

When you choose to open a location in an external map app (Google Maps or Naver Map), your device shares the selected coordinates directly with that app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising or analytics purposes.

4. Data Retention

We do not maintain user accounts or a backend database of your personal travel history. Location data is used transiently to process each request and is not retained after the request is completed.

5. Your Choices

Location access is optional. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings, though this will limit certain features of the Service.
You may uninstall the app at any time to remove all locally stored preferences (such as language settings) from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
